A variety of Sunday School classes are offered for Adults of all ages. Sunday School begins at 9:00 every Sunday morning.

Sisters in Spirit

Just for the women, this dynamic class is taught by Connie Morris. They are reading “If You Want to Walk on Water, You Have to Get out of the Boat” by John Ortberg. They meet in the lower-level of the Sunday School wing.

This class, taught by Pastor Gerry, takes an interesting look at the current events in the news put our by “The Wired Word” and how they relate to our lives as Christians. Each topic is given many scripture texts to use for reference as the class studies how to live in the 21st century. This unconventional, discussion-based class meets in the lower-level of the Sunday School wing and is open to all ages.

New Life

The New Life class meets in the Library (in the lower-level) and is taught by Robert Stockslager and Sharon Hershey. This class uses the Guide for Biblical Studies curriculum, which is published by Brethren Press.

Truth Seekers

Meeting in the upper-level, this class is taught by Angie Ruth. They also study from the Biblical Studies curriculum, but the format is more of a loose, round-table discussion of the text. It functions as a blend between the ‘ETC.’ and the ‘New Life’ class. This fall they will be looking at a book concerning “Anabaptist Studies.”

Special Elective Classes

Occasionally, the Christian Education Commission will offer a special, short-term elective class for adults in addition to the regularly scheduled classes. The topics, location, format, and teachers vary, so watch your weekly bulletin or facebook announcements for details!
