Kathy Miller is the secretary at the Hanover COB. She moved from Richmond, VA to Hanover in January 2008 with her husband and two daughters. She has experienced many different forms of employment in the past. After graduating from Bridgewater College with a degree in art, she worked as a graphic designer for about 15 years until her children were born. She then sought something more part time and began volunteering in the elementary school library where her daughters attended. Kathy loves books and reading, so it was a perfect fit. She was eventually hired at an elementary school as a library aide and by the time she moved to Hanover was working full time as a learning support aide for English as a Second Language (ESL) students. Before taking the position with Hanover Church of the Brethren, Kathy worked two years at EHMIS as a paraeducator with sixth grade science and social studies.
Kathy enjoys traveling, camping, designing banners and volunteering when she can. She feels that one of her greatest accomplishments has been raising two independent and gifted daughters and she treasures the time spent with them and her husband.
